On this podcast, the last sermon for the Thanksgiving Rally Weekend, Pastor Brent Horner give an overview of what is going on in John Chapter 14. After reading the text Pastor Brent discusses how the disciples were not concerned about Jesus going to prepare a place for them. They were only concerned that Jesus was leaving them.
Pastor Brent then asks the question "Why did Jesus come?". Pastor Brent stresses the point that Jesus came becasue he loves us. When that relationship between God and man was broken God spent the rest of the Bible playing out His plan to restore and heal that broken relationship.
To wrap up the sermon he explores the concept of God healing this broken relationship by unpacking the idea that Jesus wants to be with us for eternity.
